Visa Run stores the travel information you voluntarily enter, including:

• Countries visited
• Entry and exit dates
• Visa types and durations
• Passport details (if added in future versions)

This data is stored securely and used solely to power your visa tracking experience.

1.3 Device and Notification Data

To deliver push notifications for visa expiry reminders, we collect:

• Push notification tokens
• Device type and operating system version
• App version

1.4 Usage and Analytics Data

We may collect anonymized data about how you interact with the app, including:

• Features accessed
• Session duration
• Crash reports and error logs

This data helps us improve the app. It is not linked to your identity.

1.5 Payment Information

Visa Run offers paid tiers (Sprint and Marathon) processed entirely through the Apple App Store. We do not collect, store, or have access to your payment card details. All transactions are governed by Apple's privacy policy.

1.6 Location Data

The current version of Visa Run does not access your device's GPS or location services. Future versions may offer optional location-based features such as automatic country detection. If introduced, this will be opt-in only and clearly disclosed.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

• Create and manage your account
• Store and display your travel history and visa data
• Send push notifications for visa expiry reminders (only if you enable them)
• Improve app performance and fix bugs
• Respond to support requests

We do not sell your personal data. We do not use your data for advertising purposes.

3. Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored securely using Supabase, a cloud database platform with industry-standard encryption in transit and at rest. We implement reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information against unauthorized access, loss, or misuse.

No system is 100% secure. In the event of a data breach that affects your personal information, we will notify you as required by applicable law.

4. Data Retention

We retain your account and travel data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, your personal data will be permanently removed from our systems within 30 days, except where retention is required by law.

5. Sharing of Information

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We may share data only in the following circumstances:

• With service providers who help us operate the app (e.g., Supabase for database hosting), who are bound by confidentiality obligations
• If required by law, regulation, or legal process
• To protect the rights, property, or safety of Visa Run, our users, or the public

Depending on your location, you may have the following rights regarding your personal data:

• Access: request a copy of the data we hold about you
• Correction: request corrections to inaccurate or incomplete data

7. Children's Privacy

• Supabase: database and authentication
• Apple App Store: payment processing and app distribution

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the effective date at the top of this document and, where appropriate, notify you via the app or email. Continued use of Visa Run after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
